MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 Update Released Today


Are you one of those Mac users that are not eligible to receive the upcoming major release of macOS Big Sur? Here is the good news, Apple has released a new update for macOS Catalina versioned as 10.15.7 and it is readily available to download today.

Your Mac computer may already prompt the update, if not click on the Apple Icon on the top left of your desktop, About This Mac & click on the Software Update button.

The update is around 2+ GB in size, the update took around 10 minutes to install on our iMac desktop (Late 2012 model, which is not eligible for big sur update)

macOS Catalina 10.15.7 provides important security updates and bug fixes for your Mac.

• Resolves an issue where macOS would not automatically connect to Wi-Fi networks
• Fixes an issue that could prevent files syncing through iCloud Drive
• Addresses a graphic issue that may occur on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) with Radeon Pro 5700 XT
