Is Google testing a new card style UI for its search homepage and search results?

Google Search Results with Cards Layout [2nd Page]I’m not sure this is the future UI of Google Search or is it just an experimental testing? Although the home page looks clean and cool I’m not very convinced with the search results as cards. Its kind of distracting the results flow.That’s just my opinion.
