How to Hide or Remove Photos and Videos Tab From Profiles and Google+ Pages?

You signed up for Google+, created a profile or a Google+ page and started to share content with your circles or community. A Google+ individual profile or a Google+ page profile consists of Posts, About, Photos, Videos and +1’s (only in individual profile) tabs.

Now, not a lot of us use all these tabs, in fact most of us don’t even use photo’s or video’s tab at all; it stays there unused and distracts your circles or followers. Turning them off would let your circles or followers spend their valuable time on areas where you want them to spend.

Luckily these tabs are configurable and easily can be turned off and removed.

Please note that even after removing these tabs (by making above changes) you’ll still see it. This is because you are logged in and the settings you changed are only visible for others (you’ll still be able to see and use those tabs). To view your profile or page as an outsider or follower either logout or use your browser in private browsing / incognito mode without logging in and access your profile or the Google+ page.
