During ‘One More Thing’ ARM mac event today, as expected Apple finally announced the release date of its next and major macOS Big Sur operating system.

macOS Big Sur is available on November 12th 2020 (in just 2 more days)

2014 and later

2013 and later

2017 and later

For those with devices that are not eligible for the upgrade, here is the good news. Apple has released a macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Supplemental Update that is available immediately for you to install today.

Just head to Settings->Software Update and it should prompt you to download.
